Shaking It With Shakespeare

Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) is the custodian and curator of collections of Singapore’s philatelic materials. It houses local stamps and archival philatelic material from the 1830s to the present day, as well as stamps from member countries of the Universal Postal Union.

In commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, SPM commissioned us to design an exhibition of the Bard that could appeal to the public. We took the high-brow material and added a humorous spin with a myriad of playful illustrations and visuals. This proved to be a hit with families and kids, and was also a fruitful educational experience for many visitors.
